My name is Gaz, and I’m a pretty average person. Genetics have never been a big part of my fitness and weight-training progress, starting off at a fantastic 110lbs and 170cm around age 17, I was the very definition of a “hard-gainer”. I’ve never really taken a huge amount of supplements because to be honest, I have better things to spend my money on. I’ve never taken steroids or prohormones. Caffeine gives me palpitations.
But despite all this, and despite what supplement companies, so called “experts”, and questionable websites would have you believe, over the last 6 years I’ve managed to transform myself and put on almost 70lbs of what I believe is largely muscle – WITHOUT the stuff they say is essential.
It wasn’t through any special diet – it was just plain old good food. It wasn’t through a champion bodybuilder’s secret program – it was through basic freeweights exercises and cardio. It wasn’t through spending every waking hour in the gym – more like 3-4 hours a week, really.
My results have come from hard work, motivation, and above all – good quality information, and that’s where I’ve been lucky. All the way through my fitness journey I’ve had numerous friends and mentors who gave me the right information and taught me how to smell the bullshit. Thats what this website is all about – good, solid, practical information for the average Joe, or the average Jane for that matter.
If I can do this, you can do this.

Great articles and content very informative looking forward to reading more.
Just a quick post to say I really enjoy your stuff
When will see pictures of the all-mighty Gaz? There are the ones from Iron Mag but most of them are old, and I’m yet to see a good shot of your wheels.
Lol, there are two in the “Zero to Hero” article on the front page.
As for my wheels, it’s hard taking a picture of them yourself!
